Later on Tuesday

After we met the mayor we went on a 100 mile bike ride. Yes, I said "we" - somehow I was tricked into joining in. They tried to tell me it was 14-15 miles when you converted from kilometers but I have a feeling their math was off. As with most things there were snacks provided by our hosts so we stopped once on the way there and once on the way back. We rode from Westerstede to Bad Zwischenahn and back. Once we arrived in Bad Zwischenahn we visited a museum - it was an actual farmhouse built in 1909 (which is only 2 years before my house) but it was like they lived in "Little House on the Prarie" days with the animals inside with them for the winter, etc.

On the way back our hosts taught the girls a regional favorite game. I cannot remember the name of it (if one of the girls sees this they can post the name in a comment) but it was kinda like street bowling.

At the end of our last full day in Germany there was a going away dinner at the clubhouse. There was yummy food, presentations by both teams, and Ninja in the rain and inside.
