Friday the 15th in Paris

Last Friday we started our morning at the Eiffle Tower. Luckily we were there early and were amongst the first to the top. The view was fairly good, despite some fog/clouds. We rode the elevator up and someone had the bright idea to take the stairs down --- not sure why I went along with that... After we came down there was a short photo shoot at the bottom. We took a photo with the Redlands Daily Fact and Westways magazine (AAA) and I hope to have them both published when we return. Mariah also wanted a photo of all of the RHS girls for the yearbook (she is on yearbook at RHS). We also took a photo of the REV girls and they are hoping to have it in their yearbook next year.

Next we walked to the Arc de Triomphe. After that we were starving and found a nice Italian restaurant so we decided to have our first team meal before heading to the Louvre.

The Louvre was huge so we only saw a small portion of it. Oddly enough you could take photos in the Louvre (but we were not allowed to do so in the Orsay, hmmmm). The two most notable things for me at the Louvre were the Monsa Lisa and the exterior.

  1. What's up with those Grove girls - Tessa and Jennifer could have done a photo for their yearbook too! :)
